Hi Alan,
Not really... You can turn on/off the Exchange Rate Adjusted option to see the gain with/without the exchange rate effect, but you can't see the difference between these 2 reported directly.
How do you include currency in a report?
I live in Norway and need to take forex into account on capital gains and open lots reports. So even if the base currency of the investment in USD, I would like to run Capital Gains and Open Lot reports that show me the investment value in NOK on purchase and sell/current date. For example I bought 10 MSFT at 100 on Jan 1, 2018 when the exchange rate was 8.1338 Today MSFT is at 110 and the exchange rate is 8.8742 I would like the open lots report to show 10 MSFT at value of USD 1,100 and NOK 9,761, with cost base of USD 1,000 and NOK 8,133, and unrealized gain of USD 100 / NOK 1,628 Is this possible?
Hi Vandring,
In reports you can either see all the data in the native/assigned currencies, or in your default currency. You can't see both at the same time though. So, in your MSFT example, if NOK is your default, you could see the figures either in USD or NOK. For help on this, see our Multiple Currency Tutorial.
