Questions on using, creating, or understanding data in Fund Manager reports.

Good Morning Mark,
Trying to clean up reports and noticed that I have 2 Cash positions that continue to appear on our reports for sub portfolio's that are hidden.
There is no balance in these Cash positions.
What am I missing?
Heidi

Hi Heidi,
Are those cash investments marked with the hidden property? Do you have View / Hidden Investments/Portfolios turned off?

Yes, The sub Portfolio's that these cash positions are in is not showing up n the Portfolio but, when I look at the "Cash" position these 2 Sub Portfolio's appear with a zero balance.

Hi Heidi,
You’ll want to look at the investment properties of these investments. Right mouse click on them and look at their properties. Under the Other tab is the “Hidden” attribute checked? If not, check it.

"Hidden" was already checked under Properties of these investments

I just ran a few different reports and found out that the "Cash" positions I am referring to do NOT show up on them.
These "Cash" positions (Investments) are only showing up on our custom report.
How do I correct and save the custom report?

Hi Heidi,
Maybe you could check out the option "Display Hidden Investments with Activity" in Report Preferences > General tab. Just an idea...
