I have been a Mac user for many years, but a Fund Manager for even longer. Despite several searches have never really found a satisfactory Mac OS replacement. Accordingly I have used Parallels to run Windows 10 and Fund Manager.
I have never had any serious problems in part because running Fund Manager is all that I do via Parallels. I suspect there are a reasonable number of Parallels/Fund Manager users. We are of course facing issues of Apple moving away from Intel chips.
I saw a reference in this forum to someone using Windows (ARM) version via Parallels with apparently no difficulty, ... though this is pre-release software. I was also heartened to see Microsoft has in pre-release Windows 365 Cloud PC "https://www.microsoft.com/en-au/windows-365".
This provides another option for Mac OS users as you can access Windows via a browser, and this presumably means you could even have Fund Manager on an iPad. The pricing seems expensive for a sole user, but may well be an option for some. Certainly cheaper than buying a PC. In looking at this I have discovered there are other so called "shadow" applications apparently mostly used by gamers that could be vehicles for running Fund Manager. For me as a Parallels user I pray we can operate windows indefinitely into the future, but nice to know there are options short of buying a PC.
Interested in any observations or feedback by fellow Mac OS users.
