Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager
by robert1 » Sat Mar 05, 2022 10:34 am
I was able to download every day this week but Friday's prices. When I went to check and see if there was an update available, its said version 2018 is no longer supported. Does that mean it won't work anymore?

Hi robert1, No, it just means that we don't support retrieving prices or transactions in that version anymore. It will likely continue to work until the quote servers change something, necessitating an update from us. For more on this policy, see: https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/faq_license_fee.php

Thanks Mark, Any idea on why it wouldn't download Friday's prices?

If you look on Yahoo with your web browser, Yahoo doesn't seem to have historical pricing yet for yesterday (3/4/2022): https://finance.yahoo.com/quote/CSSAX/history?p=CSSAXYou might want to wait for them to post these prices, or you can try another quote server. For example, if you use the plain Yahoo server, it will retrieve Friday's prices.

Hi robert1, Sure. Just go to Yahoo Finance, which is: https://finance.yahoo.comand search for your symbol. Once you're viewing the quote for your symbol, click on the "Historical Data" tab.
