Cannot Retrieve Historical Bond Prices

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Postby sbsmith3550 » Tue Jun 14, 2022 3:12 pm

I have tried Finra-Bonds, FondsCheck, and FondsCheck (Historical), but nothing seems to work. I have changed the "ticker" for each server as instructed. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi sbsmith3550,

Finra - Bonds and FondsCheck are for current prices only. If you're trying to get historical prices, use one of the servers that says "(Historical)", like FondsCheck (Historical). Were you able to find the bond quote you needed on FondsCheck using your web browser? See the instructions here for how to use this server:

https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/int ... FondsCheck

If you still have troubles, please post a link to the quote on FondsCheck you're trying to retrieve.
Thanks,
Mark

Here is one of the bonds for which I am trying to find historical prices:
https://www.anleihencheck.de/3_25_adobe ... 99-anleihe

I cannot find the proper symbol on this URL. Thanks for your help

Hi sbsmith3550,

Yes, I see the same issue. That bond is getting quoted on a different domain (anleihencheck.de) than fondscheck.de. Fund Manager won't be able to retrieve that quote.
Thanks,
Mark

When I click on "Bonds" on fondscheck.de, it sends me to anleihencheck.de. Does this mean that no bond prices can be downloaded from fondscheck.de?

Hi sbsmith3550,

Yes, this appears to be the case now. We'll update our website to remove the mention of bonds for this server. FM currently only supports prices quotes on fondscheck.de itself, where you can read the "secu" value as mentioned here:

https://www.fundmanagersoftware.com/int ... FondsCheck
Thanks,
Mark
