Distributed distributions (current) missing Income Int.

General questions about using Fund Manager that do not fit into any other forum.

Hi Mark

I park my cash in a Mutual Fund that mimics a Savings Account and receive a monthly Interest that gets re-invested. I record this as Interest Income. However this is not picked up by the Dist dist-C (current) field. See attachment. The Gain-C seems to be picking it up correctly. Is this the correct behavior and if not how to fix it?

Hi tomsobby,

The "Distributed distributions (current)" field is for "distributed" (not reinvested) distributions, so if you've recorded them as reinvested, they won't be included here. You can use one of the "Total distributions" or "Reinvested distributions" fields.
Thanks,
Mark

Thanks Mark for the prompt response. Total Distributions (btw) field is helpful. Is there one for the shares owned at the end of the reporting period?

Thanks,

Tom Abraham

Hi Tom,

Sorry, no, that isn't an available field currently. We can consider adding it. Thanks for the feedback.
Thanks,
Mark
