cant update sept 9 thru 22

Just a curiousity question, not a problem, but I gotta ask anyway! No matter which historical update setting I use, I can't update any investments in the time period from Sept 9 2010 through Sept 22 2010! No matter which update setting I use, I have no problem at all updating my portfolio before Sept 9 or after Sept 22, but I have a flat line across that entire interval! Any idea why? I don't recall that all markets worldwide were closed completely during that time period, so there must be actual data available!!!

I'm not sure why that would be either... Can you give me an example ticker symbol and historical quote server you are using?

I'm using MSN-historical at the moment, but yahoo historical doesn't work either. I have an update.mm4 portfolio I use with no problems at all in any other ranges. It contains HABDX, LMVTX, LLPFX, TBGVX, and PRMSX, among others.

Don't kill yourself on this! I'm merely curious, but it is interesting, no doubt!

Hi Tom,

I tested HABDX. MSN (historical) doesn't seem to have prices for this period, but Yahoo (Historical) worked fine over this time period. Also, if you look at the historical chart on MSN for HABDX using your web browser, you'll notice there is a flat line during this period, so it appears MSN is missing this data for some reason. If you'd like this data, try out Yahoo (historical).

Let's not beat a dead horse, but I just opened my habdx.dat file and tried to update it using yahoo historical for 9/8/10 thru 9/22/10 and still got the "could not update any investments" message from FM! But when I switched to yahoo adjusted historical, it worked! Ain't technology grand?!
