Specific Lot not working

Hi Mark, Cant get specific lot identifier to work for recent sale. Only have purchases up until now. Accounting is set for specific lots in properties. any advice.

What specifically is not working?

Here is the general flow for using Specific Lot:

1) Assign your investment to use this accounting method under "Investment Properties... / Other".

2) After you record a redemption, you must go to "Edit / Investment Data / Specify Lots..." and choose which lots you want to sell for each recorded redemption. Every redemption is listed on the left, and all available purchases are listed on the right. Make sure you fully specify all redemptions. They should each have a check mark next to them.

3) Create your Capital Gains report, and you should see the redemption reported according to your specifications.
