Price retrieval for Italy

Hi

I am currently unable to retrieve prices from Yahoo Italy quote server.
I have updated to Personal version 10.9 , quote module 422 and Transaction module 141.
I know my ticker are right because if I go manually to yahoo italy I can get the data. However the prices I get are apparently different from the ones I retrieve from morning star Italy (for the same ISIN code).

I have been using Fund Manager for several years and it used to work fine until some months ago when Yahoo started having problems.
Can anyone help me ?
Or suggest using another quote server ? (my portfolio is mostly of Italian mutual funds and Luxemburg SICAV in Euro)

Hi Giancarlo,

Is Fund Manager retrieving the same data that you see with your web browser on Yahoo? Can you give me a sample ticker symbol that you're having problems with?

Thank you for your prompt reply !
Here is a couple of example tickers:

IT0001040077.MI which is ANM Europa price € 13,01 on March 21-st
IT0001415345.MI which is ANM Liquidità price € 6,95 on March 21-st

None of these gets updated in Fund Manager. It says "could not update any investment".

Even more surprising, if I go the morningstar site for the same funds I get different prices !
example: IT0001415345 (ISIN code for ANM Liquidità) price € 6,677 on
March 21-st

Currently I manually cut and paste price from morningstar.it to Fund Manager but it is quite a boring and time consuming process.

Hi Giancarlo,

I looked up IT0001040077.MI on Yahoo, and it shows a price, but if you click the "Download Data" link, on the lower right, it downloads a CSV file that doesn't have a price. This is where Fund Manager goes for quotes, so it won't be able to update as this symbol doesn't have a valid download data link. I would suggest seeing if you can find this quote on any of our other supported quote servers until Yahoo makes it available. You might try Bloomberg. For links to all the quote servers, visit:

Hi Mark

Thanks a lot for your suggestion. I have tried Bloomberg quote server. It DOES work for most of my funds but not for all of them. So I am experimenting with MSN which uses ISIN codes thus making search easier. But could not find all of them so far.

Is it possible to use morningstar as a quote server ?
Mornistar has them all and uses ISIN codes.

Hi Giancarlo,

You can only use the quote servers available in the program. We can consider adding support for others, but for now you can only retrieve from the ones supported.
