Scottrade: No transactions showing up in TR1 file

Questions about updating prices or transactions in Fund Manager

Hello,

I apologize if this has been discussed before (looked back aways)

I use Scottrade and can open a TR1 file to update client accounts. Fund Manager scans (and sees) the actual accounts. However when attempting to import -- no transactions are showing up. It doesn't matter if I specify a specific account or not.

I opened the TR1 in a text editor and know that several transactions exist so I am not sure where the problem is?

Anyone run into this -- thanks for any help. I'm sure it is a simple fix -- but haven't found it yet.

Hi mcrews,

Maybe the transactions have already been imported? If they're already in Fund Manager, and you leave on the option in the import wizard to "Skip Transactions Already in Fund Manager", these transactions will not import a 2nd time. You can temporarily turn off that option, and press "Next" to just see if Fund Manager is seeing these transactions. Press "Back" or "Cancel" at the Preview stage though, to not import a 2nd copy of the same transactions. Fund Manager will warn you if it comes across any transactions in your TR1 file that it doesn't understand, so if you're not getting any error messages, then all the TR1 transactions were processed successfully.

Thanks for the reply. That wasn't it but the solution was fortunately just as simple.

The CUSIP was incorrect and once that was corrected it worked just fine. I only discovered it when I allowed FM to create a new security (which is a no-go for me as a default) and it showed up in the transaction box.
