FM not updating historical prices on sub-portfolio

FM is updating the historical prices for the first sub-portfolio just fine...but these are all Canadian stocks.

The second sub-portfolio is all US DOW stocks and the histroical prices are not being sought by FM...i'm not seeing any US symbols in the Yahoo send/receive window.

How do i tell FM to get the historical prices for the US sub-portoflio?

Hi ThomasK,

How are you updating prices exactly? If you're using the toolbar button or the "Edit / Internet Retrieve / Historical Prices" menu command this updates all open investments in all sub-portfolios. If you are selecting a sub-portfolio in the Portfolio Editor, and right mouse clicking and choosing "Retrieve Selected Historical Prices", this only updates what you have selected. If you're doing the first method, but don't see updates for some investments, check their investment properties. Look at "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve", and make sure they are enabled for retrieving, and check what you have assigned for their "Historical Quote Server". The global setting for quote servers is set under "Options / Internet Settings...", but you can override the quote server on a per-investment basis under "Investment Properties... / Internet Retrieve".

Thanks Mark,

Your solution is correct, however, for whatever reason FM required a relaunch.

After shutting FM down and relaunching it prices in the reports showed fine.
