Client Statement Service

 

The Client Statement Service is a subscription based service that enables easy and secure sharing of statements with your clients.  The Client Statement Service is only available in the Advisor version of Fund Manager.  The Client Statement Service is an extension to the Mobile/Web Access feature.  A video tutorial is available for help using this service.


Instructions:  (see tutorial)

Step 1:  From within Fund Manager Advisor on your PC, select Edit / Client List....  Add or edit each client and under the "Mobile/Web Access" section choose "Account Settings..." to create an account for each client.

 

Step 2:  Create your client statements.  The Batch Print/Email feature in Fund Manager is ideal to create all your client statements quickly for each client.

 

Step 3:  Upload your client statements using Options / Mobile/Web Access / Upload Statements....

 

Step 4:  Direct your clients to the Web Client Portal to view their statements.  Provide the client with their username/password created in step 1.

 

Advisor Portal:

A web based Advisor Portal is available to manage your client's statements and your subscription.

 

Statements:

Any method can be used to create statements, including other programs.  When uploading statements you can either upload a specific statement, or all the statements in a folder.  Statements are uploaded into "Groups", which are typically used to organize statements into quarterly report groups.  You can use groups for any purpose and upload as many statements as you want into each group.  Statement files can be in a wide variety of formats, including PDF, DOC, DOCX, JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, XLS, XLSX, TXT, or CSV.

 

To facilitate bulk uploading of statements save your statement files using the filename format:

 

<Username>,<Group>,<Statement>

 

When batch printing, choose this filename format in the batch print options dialog.  The Upload Client Statements dialog will automatically be shown after batch printing when using this filename format.

 

To print all of a client's graphs/reports to a single PDF file for uploading, use a PDF printer, such as PrimoPDF.

 

In addition to sharing statements, you can also share current holdings with your clients.  Select Options / Mobile/Web Access / Upload Holdings... to make current holdings available for each of your clients.  See the Mobile/Web Access Tutorial for a demonstration of sharing current holdings.

Security and Privacy:

The Client Statement Service has been designed from the ground up to offer maximum security and privacy.  All statements are transmitted via HTTPS and stored encrypted on the server.  Statements are encrypted in such a manner that only the client can decrypt and view them.  Even with direct server access, no Beiley Software employee or server admin can decrypt statement files.  Only a client who has successfully logged in with their username/password would be able to decrypt/view the statements.
