Thanks for you suggestion. I suspected changing the monitor resolution might enable me to view the Apply button, but I was hesitant to do that. It did fix the problem. What I don't understand is that my previous monitor setting is the OEM recommended setting and the new 600 x 800 setting makes everything too small on the screen.
As for exiting portfolios, I use the "automatic save portfolio setting" so I don't forget to save. Thanks for the tip, though.
