: : Is there a way to specify a password with the command line mode? I'm trying to use Windows Task Scheduler to auto-update my portfolio, but all my investments are password protected. I have tried everything I can think of to pass this to FundManager, but have had no success.

: : 4.0 seems great so far. Keep up the good work, Mark!

: Hi Dave,
: Sorry, no. Good suggestion for a new feature
: though. I'm not sure how you would want to do
: this? I'll have to give it some thought. If
: you give the password on the command line, that
: isn't very secure, as it leaves your password
: easily visible to anyone with access to your
: computer.

: The solution for now is to un-password protect
: your investments you wish to auto-update.

: Thanks,

Dave,

I'm using Launch Pad (www.cypressnet.com) as a scheduler together with the /I/Q commandline switches. Launch Pad has the ability to send a 'key' to
open the P/W protection. Works fine except that FM is fully visable, and accessable during the update. Its only open for a couple of min though!
