Recently Connected to internet via Gilat2home 2 way satellite system (sends back to satellite also). Local computers are connected to this sytem via a proxy host. Changed fund manager to retrieve quotes via a proxy server. Using Yahoo and Yahoo historical. It does work, but it is extremely slow--many times slower than my phone modem. Yet the satellite system shows download bit rates of 300-500 kbps. Any ideas as to what is causing this?
