: Hi Mark,

: I just had to cancel and redo some individual stock transactions that had been input incorrectly. I noticed that the cancelled entry did not delete the corresponding debit/credit entry that had been made originally to my nominated Cash Account.

: Thus when I reinput the stock buy/sell transactions I ended up with duplicates in the Cash Account and of course an incorrect balance and transaction trail.

Hi Stewart,

When you were deleting the transactions that had been input correctly was
the default cash account assigned? If you just open the investment, without
having the default cash account assigned, then it will not delete the
associated entry in the default cash account.

Thanks,
Mark
