Any thoughts? : : : Thanks! : : Hi Chuck, : : Are you talking about loading them into Fund Manager improperly somehow? Are : : Thanks, : Well I linked through Yahoo fine. FM finds the transactions. However it doesn't know where to put them. For instance, I find multiple instances of some transactions in the wrong fund (in VIVAX rather than VMPXX for instance). QUite bizarre.
If you go look at your portfolios on Yahoo are all the transactions Fund Manager will match retrieved investments based on the symbol recorded for your investment. If no symbol is available in the retrieved data, Fund Manager will look for matches between the investment name in Fund Manager and the “Description” field in the Yahoo data. For stock investments either the symbol or name must match for an update to occur. For mutual funds, if neither the symbol or name match, Fund Manager will match the transaction with all investments assigned to that Yahoo portfolio. Thanks,
