Any thoughts? : : : : Thanks! : : : Hi Chuck, : : : Are you talking about loading them into Fund Manager improperly somehow? Are : : : you using the transaction retrieve from Yahoo feature? Can you provide a few : : : more specifics of what you're doing, and what you see? Like, what menu : : : command are you using, and where in the program are you looking? : : : Thanks, : : : Mark : : : -- : : : Mark Beiley : : : : : : Fund Manager, portfolio management software for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/00/XP : : : : : Well I linked through Yahoo fine. FM finds the transactions. However it doesn't know where to put them. For instance, I find multiple instances of some transactions in the wrong fund (in VIVAX rather than VMPXX for instance). QUite bizarre. : : Hi Chuck, : If you go look at your portfolios on Yahoo are all the transactions : in the correct portfolio? How many Yahoo portfolios do you have? Have : you assigned the Yahoo portfolio to your Fund Manager investments under : "Investment Properties.../Internet Retrieve"? Here are some details : about how Fund Manager matches up the transactions with your investments: : Fund Manager will match retrieved investments based on the symbol recorded for your investment. If no symbol is available in the retrieved data, Fund Manager will look for matches between the investment name in Fund Manager and the Description field in the Yahoo data. For stock investments either the symbol or name must match for an update to occur. For mutual funds, if neither the symbol or name match, Fund Manager will match the transaction with all investments assigned to that Yahoo portfolio. : Thanks, : Mark : -- : Mark Beiley : : Fund Manager, portfolio management software for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/00/XP : Hmm... let me check that out. Thanks for your help.
