I think I figured it out, When I create my portfolio I would just take the number of shares I have and when I place price for purchase I would just place the cost\share cost in. Then that would show my total gain or lost? What you think? And as I go on buying stock or receive a dividend I would just plug the figures in. And when tax time comes I let my accountant take care of that part. I just want to keep track of what I'm putting in for money and if I'm making money or not. Thanks. Dale
