: : I have some stripped bonds in my portfolio. Each month as they get closer to maturity they incresase in value. How would I be able to relect the increased value of these bonds using Fund Manager, so that the total value of my portfolio is accurate?

: : Thanks

: Hi Dave,

: Value is simply the # of shares you own, times the share price. So,
: depending on how you recorded your bonds, you would either need to increase
: the share price, or the number of shares. To change the share price, just
: use "Edit / Update Price".

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks Mark....
However, when I initially entered the bonds I used a price of $1 and the number of shares represented the the purchase value of the bonds. I would like to edit the number of shares which would give me the current value, however, when I go to edit/udate price it doesn't give me a choice to increase the number of shares. Is there another way to increase the number of shares? Perhaps it would work better if I had initally entered the number of shares as 1 and the price as the initial cost of the bond.

thanks
Dave
