: : Mark,

: : I have created 4 Sub-Portfolio's and when I create a report with subtotal portfolios and preform a investment sort-by all seems to work within the Sub-Portfolio except %Gain and Yield.

: : Thanks

: Hi Gary,

: What report type are you looking at, and what are you "listing by"? For
: example, is it a "Portfolio Performance" report, listing by "Investment"?

: The investment sorting only sorts investments in the stack, it doesn't sort
: sub-portfolios. Is that what you were expecting? Sub-portfolios are always
: listed alphabetically.

: Thanks,

Hi Gary,

I should mention a way you can sort sub-portfolios. If you use the Portfolio
Editor window, you can add fields to the "List" view on the right. Just
choose "View / List Columns...". You can then sort the list by any displayed
column by clicking on the column header. It will sort both sub-portfolios
and investments, keeping sub-portfolios always on the top of the list, before
the investments.

Thanks,
Mark
