: FM7 Beta 4

: Mark,
: I have two of sub portfolios with up to 190 shares per sub-portfolio.

: I create a Porfolio performance report for the last 7 months to look at the 6 shares that are still open.

: The Report lists all 190 shares ( 190 x 2 , when I report on the Master portfolio). The other shares have zeros and n.a.

: It means scrolling the screen many times just to try and see the half dozen shares that are of interest to me (open)
: I need to be able to switch off the reported shares not traded in the report date range used.

: Can I do this ?

: Many thanks.

Hi George,

You can use the "Hidden" attribute of an investment to exclude it from
displaying as a line item when a report is listed by investment. When
editing the properties of an investment, see the "Other" tab, and turn
on the "Hidden" attribute. You can then control whether hidden investments
will show up in graphs/reports with the "View / Hidden Investments" menu
command. The "Hidden" attribute is good to use when you no longer own
any shares of that investment, but wish to retain it in your portfolio, so
overall historical portfolio figures will include that investment.

Thanks,
Mark
