: When I open portfolio x, for example, and use the portfolio view finder, the Master Portfolio is portfolio x. When I open portfolio y, the Master Portfolio is portfolio y. The top level portfolio is always the portfolio that is open underneath the portfolio view. If I create sub-portfolios matching other, non-open portfolios, and paste their contents over, then I am approaching what you describe; but I still have to use portfolio x as the entry point to reaccess the new stacking.

Hi Tbone,

How about creating a new portfolio file (*.mm4) that looks like this:

Master Portfolio
|
|
-- Portfolio X
|
|
-- Portfolio Y

and then putting all the investments from your old portfolios into the
appropriate sub-portfolio above. Then, you'll just need to use this one
portfolio file to work with all your investments/accounts. I may be missing
your point...

Thanks,
Mark
