Mark:

When I open portfolio x, for example, and use the portfolio view finder, the Master Portfolio is portfolio x. When I open portfolio y, the Master Portfolio is portfolio y. The top level portfolio is always the portfolio that is open underneath the portfolio view. If I create sub-portfolios matching other, non-open portfolios, and paste their contents over, then I am approaching what you describe; but I still have to use portfolio x as the entry point to reaccess the new stacking.
