: : Good Morning-
: : I am a new registered user of FM. When I created my portfolio(s)FM logged onto the relevant brokerages (scottrade, fidelity & etrade)and imported all of the transactions. I have made purchases since then (2/14/05)and these are not being imported through FM (using the relevant toolbar icon for than action). These have shown up in Microsoft Money, so I know the data is available. What am I doing wrong?

:
: Hi Steve,

: Are you getting any error messages or anything? Or, does the transaction
: preview window just show up without them? Here are some ideas of things to check:

: 1) Make sure the sub-portfolios are actually being retrieved. Are you doing
: them individually, or retrieving a higher level sub-portfolio and including
: all the ones below it for retrieve? Notice the option "Also Retrieve All
: Sub-Portfolios" on the transaction retrieve dialog.

: 2) Check the date range you're retrieving to make sure it includes the date
: of your transactions.

: 3) If these transactions are in new investments you'll want to check the
: "Create New Investments As Needed" option.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Thanks for the reply. The preview pane WAS blank. I retried again at 9:00am and was rewarded with the new transactions being downloaded. Is there a time factor with the server? Is there any time that is better than others to do this?
The "master" portfolio WAS highlighted with the four 'sub' folders. Each showed that the 'portfolio' was retrieved... just no legitement data until 9:00am
