: I have 2 mutual funds that I use for a cash reserve. They are the only 2 funds in a portfolio title "Money Reserve." One is an near term pool that I will write checks out of. I would like to see a feature wehere I can get one prompt to sell from one and buy from the other. Currently, I sell in one and then move to the other one and select buy.

: Great program, thanks.

Hi J Reece,

This sounds like the "Default Cash Account" feature. Under your portfolio properties, you can pick an investment to be the default cash account. Then, when you have transactions that use/generate cash, the money will automatically go into or come out of this default cash account. Have you seen/tried this feature? Just open up the Portfolio Editor (View / Portfolio Editor) and right mouse click on your portfolio on the left, and choose "Properties..." from the popup menu. You can assigne the default cash account here.

Thanks,
Mark
