: Hi again

: Back up path showing was valid, but for some reason was being ignored (error message referred to a different, presumably default location on C drive that has deliberatly never been used by me as far as I know)

: I ended up abandoning the new invesments that would not save, and reinstalling FundManager, and recreating the investments - this fixed the problem.

: Could this be a registry issue? Are paths stored in registry?

: Cheers

Hi Paul,

Investment paths aren't stored in the registry. An investment path is determined from where it is opened. You can have investments anywhere. Wherever you open it from is where it would be saved back to. I'm not sure what happened, but it sounds like you have resolved the issue, which is good.

Thanks,
Mark
