I have just completed transfering 17 MF between Scottrade & Fidelity. The data files associated with the original brokerage, scottrade, are now closed and these files are created anew within fidelity. Question: Is there a way to use the scottrade data files for the new fidelity ones? The old scottrade files have years of accumulated financial data, dividend, reinvestments, purchases, prices, etc., that are lost upon the completion of restaring in fidelity. The data files are named exactly the same between accounts, only the older one has more relevant financial data connected to them....
