hopefully this info will help:
if i single click an investment it open immediately and the 'open investment window' closes.
If i hold down ctrl and click on an investment in the left most column, or it gets entered into the 'file name' field. then hovering over other investment in the left side column enters those names into 'file name' as well, i don't have to click. hovering over entered names will also remove them from 'file name'.

however, if i hover over (holding down ctrl the whole time)any name in a right most column, it gets entered and the columns shift left, highlighting another name and entering it into 'file name' as well. several might be entered this way, without my doing anything but starting the process by hovering over a right side column name, with the columns shifting left several times on their own.

further, if i hold ctrl and click on a left side name, it gets entered, if i release ctrl and hover over another name it takes the place of the first. i can do this several times with names being replaced. the shifting left movement doesn't happen without ctrl being held down. but only one name will reside in the 'file name' field at a time.

hopefully, if this isn't too confusing, it will give enough info for you find a fix for the problem.
