: I have 5 years of transactions I still need to download. I am having difficulty importing them from a spreadsheet. I format the excell file to the specifications and have repeatedly tried to match the format input to the data. It always tells me that one or more files is not included. I have the portfolio on MSN money portfolio but I can't figure out how to export all the transactions. And I can't inport the transactions that do export.
: Thanks again

Hi Eddie,

If you have your transactions in Money, the easiest thing to do is export them to a Quicken (QIF) file. To export from Money just open up the account register you want to export, and choose "File / Export...". Choose the "Strict QIF" option. After you export go into Fund Manager and select "File / Import / Transactions / Quicke (*.QIF)" and import that file.

If you have transactions in an Excel spreadsheet you can save them to a CSV file, and then import them with the generic import command in Fund Manager. Use "File / Import / Transactions / Generic...". Press the "Help..." button in there to read about how to use this import. If you have troubles, you can send me your CSV file, and what format string you're using, and I can try to help with the specifics.

Thanks,
Mark
