: In passing I did note that auto-back up requires constant checking as even when using a PC I found that auto back up was not working - or the location of the backup files would revert to the "default location". I guess it highlights I should check this more often - and obviously no harm to do a regular manual back up. ;-)

Hello Gary,

I'd suggest just closing Fund Manager and copying the good .dat files back over your corrupt ones.

If you have opened the files in Fund Manager already, and saved them in your portfolio, you will need to close and re-open them from the desired drive/location. A good tool to manage your investments is the Portfolio Editor. Use "View / Portfolio Editor" to bring this up. On the right hand side is a "Location" and "Filename" column, so you can quickly see where all your investments are coming from.

Thanks for the information on the Windows emulator. I do think there are a few others doing this, as I hear about that once in a while.

If you notice any more information on the auto-backup not working please do let me know.
