Did I miss a setting somewhere, or is it a problem with the IB reports again ? I tried help / "options", obviously it points to all the marvelous options the program has! : thanks : Didier
The Investment Performance report is showing information on the intrinsic investment, not how your invested money in that investment performed. It is displaying share price numbers, so when the share price goes down, it will show a negative gain/yield. This is independent of how you invested, so even if you made money by going short, the intrinsic investment still went down. On the options... Are you using the symbol for the option, or the underlying stock? Can you give me an example ticker symbol, how IB reports it, and the price you're retrieving? Thanks,
