: With regard to my previous message I think I have realised that I can only have one "master" portfolio and that I must create subsequent portfolio trees (with sub-portfolios) if I effectively want to monitor 2 portfolios as different entities.
: Please confirm that this is in fact the case.
: Thanks.

Hi Rupert,

You can have as many portfolio files (*.mm4) as you want. Each portfolio file
contains the definitions of all your sub-portfolios and included investments. When you are using the "File / Open Portfolio" command you are opening a portfolio file (*.mm4). Each portfolio file is separate from the others. You can only have one portfolio file open at a time. Each portfolio file can contain any number of sub-portfolios and investments.

Thanks,
Mark
