Using the Message board

I just spent 10 minutes writing and editing an absolutely brilliant message. Then tried to submitted it. I then received an error message saying that I must enter my name. OK, so I backed up and entered my name and submitted again. Again an error message, this time I was told to enter the security code. However, looks like two strikes and your out in this game. When I tried to backup, my original message was gone. I'm now despondent. All my brilliance is drained out.
