: : Hi --
: : When I received transactions from Scottrade, I noticed one equity with NO name. This was a stock which I sold short and later covered. Is there some way that I can assign a name to this stock (I know what stock it was).
: : TIA.

: Hi Keith,

: Yes. Just right mouse click on the investment and choose "Investment Properties..." from the popup menu. On the "General" tab of this dialog you can edit the name.

: Thanks,
: Mark

Mark --
That worked for me. However, I am a bit curious how things would work out if I had two short sales of two different stocks which overlapped it time. I haven't had this sittuation yet so don't quite know how to test. Guess I could make up some 'fake' trades in .csv format?

As always, thank you so much for your rapid response.
