Distributions in Performance Reports

It appears that the Portfolio Performance Report ignores Reinvested Dividends, whereas the Investment Performance Report includes them in the Distribution column. This is confusing to me, as well as frustrating because I need a report that shows ALL Distributions including those that are reinvested as well as Beg/End Value and amt invested during the period. The Portfolio Performance Report gives me the format that I want, but excludes reinvestments. This doesn't make sense to me...To evaluate the best performers in my Portfolio, I want to see ALL Distributions -- not just those that I take in cash. Why is Distribution reported differently in the two reports?
