: It appears that the Portfolio Performance Report ignores Reinvested Dividends, whereas the Investment Performance Report includes them in the Distribution column. This is confusing to me, as well as frustrating because I need a report that shows ALL Distributions including those that are reinvested as well as Beg/End Value and amt invested during the period. The Portfolio Performance Report gives me the format that I want, but excludes reinvestments. This doesn't make sense to me...To evaluate the best performers in my Portfolio, I want to see ALL Distributions -- not just those that I take in cash.

: Why is Distribution reported differently in the two reports?
: Why are reinvested distributions not include in Distribution in the Portfolio Performance Report?

These reports (PP and IP) are trying to show different things. In the PP
report, it is showing cash flow in/out of the investments, and your
return on your money. Since reinvested distributions don't come out, they
aren't summed in the distribution column. These are the figures used
to calculate the %Gains in this report.

In the IP report, FM is showing the performance of the intrinsic investment,
not your invested dollars, so it includes all distributions, which affect
the share price. Since these %Gain figures are based on share price
fluctuaion, this is appropriate here.

If you're trying to find a summary of your distributions, please see
the "Distribution Summary" report, or you can create a custom report
with the fields you are looking for.

Thanks,
Mark
