Reinvesting profits/transfering funds

Mark,
I've enjoyed using this program for a long time! How would be the best way to handle money that I'm reinvesting (i.e., from
taking profits, or rebalancing portfolio), since it's not really new money
being invested. Doing like has been suggested for employer's contributions
(entering an equal, negative amount as commission) is the only one I can
come up with, but perhaps I'm missing something. Thanks,
