Download of new Fund Manager S/W

About 1.5 years ago I downloaded a tryout version of Fund Manager.
I reviewed it but I did not load any data or otherwise use it except to look at the examples that came with the download.

If I were to download the latest version of Fund Manager is there anything that I would need to do with the other files on my system from the previous download?

I don't have a 3rd party uninstaller and I understand that the one that comes w/windows95 may leave bits and pieces strewn about.

How can I be sure that there isn't anything on my system that will bother a new Fund Manager program.
