Hi Mark:

CNBC is free to get quotes. The only difference that I can tell is that it is
easier to get quotes on options and other stocks (especially bullentin boards
stocks with low volume).

Other than that I'm not sure what all the other servers offer because I haven't
really looked at them.

For the options, all you need to do is put the 5 symbol code for the option
contract without any other symbol like a period or quote.

Although PC Quote give quotes on option contracts, I believe that on low
volume options or options that didn't have any trades there was no price update
from PC Quote.
