: : : I was wondering if it was possible to add CNBC.com as a quote server

: : Hi Kirk,
: : Thanks for the suggestion. The criteria for adding a new server
: : is that it must be free, without registration, and offer quotes or
: : some other benefit, not currently available on any other of the
: : supported servers. Does cnbc.com fall into this category?

: : Thanks,

: Hi Mark:

: CNBC is free to get quotes. The only difference that I can tell is that it is
: easier to get quotes on options and other stocks (especially bullentin boards
: stocks with low volume).

: Other than that I'm not sure what all the other servers offer because I haven't
: really looked at them.

: For the options, all you need to do is put the 5 symbol code for the option
: contract without any other symbol like a period or quote.

: Although PC Quote give quotes on option contracts, I believe that on low
: volume options or options that didn't have any trades there was no price update
: from PC Quote.

Hi Kirk,
Thanks for the info on this server, sounds like it may be an improvement
for option prices. FYI, there is a list of the servers supported at:

Thanks,
