Is there a way to preserve your investment history when you sell or transfer
a fund to buy a new fund? For ex. if I bought fund A five years ago for $10 and now its worth $15.
If I sell fund A now and buy fund B the "portfolio performance" report will show
it cost me $15. While this is correct, I really have invested only $10. I would
like to keep track of my original cash investment to track its growth. Buying a
new fund seems to delete the original investment and its history so that everything starts from
"today". --Maybe another chart to show the actual "out of pocket" cash investment.
