: I have been looking for a program that will successfuly handle a high volume trading year with wash sales calcs needed, and FM looks like that component is what I need.

: I would create a quicken file formatted input of all buy and sells and use FM to adjust for splits, etc.

: Q. Is this right, that FM can handle the above? Is there a simpler version that only provides this function? OK if not.

: Thanks,
: Buck

Hi Buck,
FM will handle as many trades as you want. FM has capital gains reports,
using either FIFO or AVG cost accounting. FM does not have specific
support for wash sales. Yes, it can import transactions from a Quicken
QIF file, and it handles splits. There is only one version of FM.

Thanks,
Mark
