Hard Drive Failure

The hard drive that stores my portfolio data files has failed. Fortunately, the fund manager executable tree is on a separate hard drive. Under fund manager executable tree, there appears to be a backup directory. From reading the docs on this site, it appears that all I need do is copy the files from the backup directory to a new location, and then launch the newly copied portfolio file. Is this correct?
