: I would like to move the interest entries to dividends in several securities. How do I move several hundred entries without having to re-enter the amounts one at a time under dividends then delete the amounts erroneously entered under interest? Is there some kind of global command of which I am unaware?

Hi Arthur,

There is no global command to do this all at once, but there is an easier way than adding/deleting. You can just edit the existing transactions, and change the distribution type. Use the "Data Register" with the "Distributions (all)" data type. Select the dividend entry you want to change to an interest, and click "Edit...". Just change the type, and click OK.

Thanks,
Mark
