: I am trying to track the performance of the index fund SPY, but I need to do so multiple times, for different start dates. I created a sub-portfolio, and created a new security for this sub-portfolio, and entered an intitial purchase of SPY at an apropriate price. I record dividends, and reinvestments, as appropriate. I then run a 'portfolio performance' report, and agree with the results. Hi Randy, Are you sure you created a new investment, and weren't editing another copy of the existing SPY investment? Are you sure the date range was the same both times you looked at the first one? If you got different numbers, something must have changed. If you don't agree with the numbers in the Portfolio Performance report, take a look at your recorded transactions in the Data Register to see why the report is displaying the way it is. If you can't resolve why this report is displaying certain numbers you can email us the investment file, along with the date range, and the numbers you're seeing, and what you're expecting. Thanks,
