: Are historical time & sales quotes available? Business Week at one time was offering this service for free but it has been discontinued as far as I can tell. Some brokerage firms offer it to select customers but just for the most recent day.

: I would be willing to purchase software that offered this capability for all securities for any reasonable time frame (at least the most recent quarter and preferably longer). Your feature historical real quotes looked like it might offer something like that, but the tie-in to Yahoo quotes was the potential glitch as I doubt that Yahoo offers the full range of time & sales unless you have a special arrangement with them. Does fund manager offer this capability?

Hi G,

Are you asking about your own historical purchases, or the purchases of a security by everyone in the market? If you are looking for the historical purchases of everyone, then Fund Manager doesn't do this. If you are looking for your own historical purchases, then Fund Manager will retrieve/track these.

You can get both historical price quotes and historical transactions. To get historical price quotes, use "Yahoo (Historical)" to retrieve prices. For historical transactions, the easiest way is to use the transaction retrieve feature, described here:

If your broker doesn't offer an OFX server (required for this feature), then you may still be able to download transactions and then import them. We support a wide variety of importing formats. See "File / Import / Transactions".

Thanks,
Mark
