: I seem to be having a hard time updating my options prices. I'm using the yahoo server. Ticker symbol is .zurah according to my broker but Yahoo likes to call it ZURAH.X

: I've tried a few different ways but when I go to retrieve selected prices, I get the error "Could not update any investments." This doesn't happen with my other investments.

: This leads to another thing, I was wondering why when I update the whole portfolio I don't get that error, even though all my option investments don't get updated.

: Really like the software, very helpful and has a lot of really good features.

: Thanks

Hi Jimmy,

You'll need to look up what Yahoo uses for the ticker symbols for the options you want. If you look up a symbol on Yahoo using your browser, you'll see a link on the left hand side to "Options". Going there will show you all the option quotes/symbols they have. For example, see:

http://finance.yahoo.com/q/op?s=AFL&m=2009-01?s=ZURAH.X

You'll only get that error message about not being able to update any investments if 0 investments get updated. Since you have some investments that are being updated when you retrieve your whole portfolio, this is why you aren't getting that message in this case.

Thanks,
Mark
