Hi Ronald,

Sorry about the troubles. This error is because of a permissions problem when running under Vista and "User Access Control" (UAC) is turned on. This has been fixed, and you can get the update. Please do this:

1) Start Fund Manager by right mouse clicking on the shortcut, and choosing "Run As Administrator".

2) Within FM, choose "Help / FM on the Web / Check for Updates...". Choose "Yes" when it asks you if you want to download the latest updates.

3) Exit, and re-start FM normally. You should now be able to retrieve your positions just as you described above.
