Hi Vic,

If you right mouse click on any investment choose "Investment Properties..." from the popup menu. Then, one of the tabs in this dialog is the "Other" tab. This just sets your transaction entry preference on whether this investment uses commissions or not. To actually edit an existing transaction, use the "Data Register". To do this, go to "Edit / All Data..." and select your investment from the list. Set the "Data Type" to "Investments (all)". You will see all of your transactions. Find the one you want to modify, select it, and choose "Edit...".
